Shed the things you no longer need in our lives like Iguanas shed their skin. Whether it’s a bad relationship, a job, or just some clutter around the house….shed it! This way you can move forward easily and freely.

Open your third eye. We all have a third eye. The iguana has a physical third eye. It’s called a parietal eye. This eye is located on the top of their head. This third eye allows the iguana to be aware on a different level. The iguana reminds us to open up our psychic awareness, and view our surroundings on spiritual and soulful levels. By doing so, we are able to have a rich experience with life and solve problems more effectively.

Iguana plays dead. When dumbstruck by a threat, the iguana just appears dead. This is a lesson in this for humans. Sometimes the best thing to do is just surrender. When the iguana plays dead, the threat usually passes. Sometimes laying low until the storm passes is the best way to prevail.

Adjust to survive. Iguanas are cold-blooded. If it gets too cold, the iguana moves into the sun and if it’s too hot, the iguana goes to a shady spot. The iguana reminds us to take action to adjust to the changes in live.
